About the event

The Westshore Wolves are a competitive hockey organization playing in the VIJHL, built on performance, accountability, and community connection. This past season marked one of the strongest years in franchise history. Over 46 games, the Wolves recorded 33 wins and just 9 losses, setting a new franchise record and continuing a serious presence in the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League.

But success for the Wolves goes beyond the scoreboard. This season reflected a program moving in the right direction, stronger player development, growing fan engagement, and a culture that values consistency and professionalism. Every home game brought increased energy in the building, and our players, staff, and supporters continue to raise the standard together.

As we look ahead to the 2026–2027 season, our focus is clear: build on this momentum, return stronger, and continue growing the Wolves brand both on and off the ice. We’re not standing still; we’re investing in the future of the organization and inviting partners to grow alongside us.

My name is David Edgar, and I’m proud to be part of the leadership and growth of the Westshore Wolves organization.

I’ve been involved in hockey for most of my life, both as a player and now in a leadership and partnership-focused role. Being around the game has taught me the value of accountability, teamwork, and showing up consistently — values I bring into everything I do with the Wolves.

My role with the organization focuses on building strong relationships, growing community partnerships, and ensuring the Wolves continue moving forward in a sustainable way. I work closely with local businesses, sponsors, and supporters to create partnerships that feel authentic, provide real value, and contribute to the long-term success of the team.

What matters most to me is making sure the Wolves are more than just a team on the ice. I want players to feel proud wearing the jersey, fans to feel connected to the organization, and partners to feel confident that their support is making a real impact.
