Trofeo Boffi,

About the event

This is the 7th Trofeo Boffi, which, as every year, takes place in Valchiavenna (in northern Italy). It is part of the Valtellina Veteran Car Club calendar and is an event for vintage car enthusiasts.
Last year 60 cars.

The event is held in memory of Gian Carlo Boffi, a former club member, mechanic and avid vintage car enthusiast (especially Alfa Romeos), who was a great source of support to many people thanks to his knowledge. Since his death in 2018, the club has organised an event featuring a tourist itinerary that changes every year, as well as a small regularity test. This year, it will not just be a local event, but will officially be part of the ASI calendar, with more competitive regularity tests.

Every year, Giada (me) and Ruby (my mum and Gian Carlo's wife) try to organise a new route and find prizes for all the participants. Everyone will receive a welcome bag containing gadgets and other goodies, and there will also be prizes for the rally, including the best timing, as well as prizes for the oldest and youngest drivers, the largest family and the ladies.

All kinds of prizes and gadgets are welcome, or other kind of support.

In exchange, we will post your logo on our flyer and mention your company at lunch. We may also mention you on social media.

Why should you sponsor?

It's for a good cause and an event that will attract lots of fans and people who knew Gian Carlo, as well as those who are discovering our beautiful area for the first time. We will mention you in our flyers and on social media, and during lunch. This could be an opportunity for you to introduce your products in this area and beyond. We often get people from other regions too, and this year it's a national event, so probably even more people from northern Italy will attend.

It might look a small event, but there's lots of effort in organizing.

Giada Boffi

I'm Giada, Gian Carlo's daughter. This event is in memory of my dad, and it's a bit of a "big family" event.

I try to support in organising, and in the last few years I took care especcially of the prizes while my mum is more in charge of the route and admin requests. In the last few years, we mainly collaborated with small local companies that have been very kind in giving some of their products or experiences. 

I personally take care of the flyer, and last year I made sure with who's updating the social-media page to mention our sponsors. Every year the partecipants are always happy with their preizes.
