A Rocky Mountain High Christmas

Celebrate the music of John Denver with his original arranger/conductor Lee Holdridge conducting special guests, Canadian symphonies, Canadian recording artists Rick and Steve Worrall and the RMH Band.

A wonderful presentation of John Denver’s greatest hits along with Mr. Holdridge’s arrangements of John’s favourite Christmas songs. A production for all ages which is sure to take you down memory lane, put a smile on your face and get you into the Christmas spirit.

To John Denver fans Lee Holdridge is best known for his arrangements for John Denver’s songs, including Annie’s song, Country Roads, Calypso and Perhaps Love to name a few. Holdridge has also written, arranged and conducted for many major recording artists including Barbara Streisand, Stevie Wonder, Neil Diamond, John Denver, Dionne Warwick, Diana Ross, Natalie Cole, and many more.

One of Hollywood’s most honoured composers, Holdridge has lent his talents to countless feature films, television movies, mini-series, series and specials. He has been nominated 18 times for an Emmy Award, winning seven. He has also won an ASCAP Film and Television Music Award, received three Cable Ace Award Nominations, and Grammy Awards.

Why should you sponsor?

The first and biggest reason any sponsor should support our tour is our audience aligns with their audience and they see they benefit of getting their name and branding in front of our audience.  We will do everything we can to help promote their product. .  Our demographic are primarily boomers, 50 plus leaning female.  This is the primary reason.

There are other reasons such as the positiviy of our message, the world class production etc but if the first reason isn't met, the rest is mute.

I have been a professonal performer for over fourty five years and have worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry including my friend and coloberator in the Rocky Mountain High Concerts, Mr. Lee Holdrige.  

For the past six years, I have dedicated myself to the success of the Rocky Mountain High Concert project, working closely with Mr. Holdridge to rebuild John Denver's sympony library from Lee's handwritten conductor scores.  This project will enable generations of concert goers, to enjoy the music of John Denver as originally arranged by Mr. Holdridge for many years to come.  

I have been fortunate to have worked with many sponsors in our past who have supported our concerts.  They include, Edward Jones, Big White Ski Resort, Sunshine Village,  Connect Hearing(current), Harvest Meats(current) The View Winery, Toyota and more.  With there help we have helped raise funds and awareness to many community charities in an on going effort to continue John Denver's philathopic philsopy of giving back.  Some of the charities we have supported through our concerts are, The Boys and Girls Club, Local Food Banks in the community where the concert is performed, The Tyeler McGill Foundation, and Hope International.
