  • About the event

Outside Streetball Festival is Charlestons first streetball, music, and arts festival. The event takes place April 4th at The Refinery and brings together 3x3 basketball, a dunk contest, DJs, live music, visual artists, vendors, and hundreds of creators from around the world.

We are partnered with The Refinery is a co-creator of the festival which gives the event a premium venue and full production support. The community response has been incredible. In the first three weeks we reached more than 50 thousand digital impressions and collected over one thousand RSVPs.

The festival blends culture, competition, and entertainment with a focus on giving back to local charities. Brands will have the chance to activate on site, appear in our recap content, and connect directly with players, spectators, and the Charleston creative community. This will be one of the largest cultural events in Charleston next spring with a heavy emphasis on media, content, and community.

Outside Streetball Festival is built to grow into an annual flagship event for the city and we are looking for partners who want to build with us from year one.

    Why should you sponsor?

Outside Streetball Festival gives brands access to a high energy audience that is active, social, and deeply engaged with Charleston culture. The event blends basketball, music, art, and community, creating a full day experience that attracts players, fans, creatives, and young professionals.

Sponsors benefit from strong visibility through on site branding, LED displays, stage presence, and integrated moments throughout the festival. The event is built around content which means brands appear in photos, videos, and social coverage that continues long after the festival ends.

Our early response has been strong with more than thirty thousand Instagram profile visits and over one thousand RSVPs in the first few weeks. The momentum shows clear interest and a strong turnout ahead.

Supporting Outside Streetball Festival allows brands to connect with a growing community event in its first year and establish a meaningful presence as the festival continues to expand.

    Egal Gabay

My name is Egal Gabay and I am the co founder of Outside Streetball Festival. I have spent the last decade working in sports, events, and media across Australia, Asia, Europe, and the United States. I have commentated for professional basketball leagues, hosted major streetball tournaments, and worked with athletes and creatives around the world.

I have produced and supported large scale basketball events including Summer Jam, one of the biggest streetball tournaments in the world which drew more than twenty thousand attendees and was supported by Jordan, Foot Locker, Red Bull, and other major partners. Experiences like these shaped my approach to storytelling, culture, and community driven events.

Outside Streetball Festival is a continuation of that work. My focus is on creating an event that brings people together, highlights local talent, and gives brands meaningful visibility through content, culture, and community engagement. I am passionate about building experiences that feel authentic, exciting, and memorable for everyone involved.
