    Lekgutsa Mbele is a South African community activist, media personality, and multifaceted artist based in Bethlehem, Free State. He is widely recognised for his work in social development and the arts. 

    Key Roles and Contributions

    Philanthropy: He is the founder of the Lekgutsa Mbele Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting disadvantaged families and vulnerable community members.

    Media & Arts: Mbele is a poet, author, scriptwriter, and media personality who often represents the Free State region on platforms like SABC News. He was recently appointed as the Media Liaison Officer for the Coalition of Non-Profit Organisations South Africa (CONPOSA) in January 2026.

    Heritage Activism: He identifies as a young heritage activist and frequently serves as an MC for local cultural and community events.

    Motivational Speaking: He uses his platform to empower others, drawing on his experiences as an alumnus of Thabo Thokoza Senior Secondary School to inspire students.
