About the event

CodeBits is the premier national-level hackathon initiative pioneered and hosted by the Gharda Institute of Technology (GIT), organized by the Department of Computer Engineering and CSE (AIML). The core mission of CodeBits is to be the central force for technological innovation and skill development in the Konkan Region and Maharashtra. This initiative serves as a dynamic platform where aspiring programmers are encouraged to push the boundaries of innovation, emphasizing collaboration, inclusivity, and the creation of impactful, real-world solutions.

This successful series returns with CodeBits 4.0, which will be held over two intensive days on March 11th and 12th, 2026. This edition is designed to be the biggest yet, welcoming over 150 passionate participants from across the nation to engage in competitive innovation and hands-on problem-solving. To ensure accessibility and allow students to focus entirely on technology, the organizers provide essential facilities including free accommodation within the campus, complimentary transport from the nearest bus stop, and full meal accessibility throughout the event. CodeBits 4.0 is where technical skills meet competitive challenges, providing students with an unmatched experience of collaborative innovation.

My name is Gandharva Latke, and I currently serve as the Coordinator for Sponsorship and Logistics Management for the CodeBits 4.0 Hackathon.
